Please join us for a very simple and accessible introduction to the practice of meditation. This free class is open to current and prospective patients of Gainesville Holistic Healthcare and will be led by Traci Pettigrew.
We will begin with a discussion of the various sitting postures and, once settled in a comfortable position, we will explore what it means to meditate, how to meditate, and the benefits of meditation. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, both before and after the actual meditation.
This recurring weekly class will begin with a 5-minute meditation and will increase in 5-minute increments weekly until we reach a 45 minute sit.
Perfect for beginners looking to establish a meditation practice or for anyone who would like to renew their practice!
